Hello, I am ready to start welding new metal patches on my '58 Fleetside. What type and thickness of steel should I look for? I am patching areas on the dash, bed sides, fire wall, fenders and the eyebrow above the windshield. There are local wrecking yards but I have not searched them as I did not what to look for in their stock. Just got a nice Mig welder and am excited about getting the rust out. Thanks, Stephen |
