Since we seem to be doing introductions ... I'm Mark Palmer, Editor of the 
MG Vintage Racers Newsletter.  I live in Bethlehem, PA.  We have about 250 
subscribers.  I publish about 3 or 4 times a year, usually about 40 pages, 
8.5 x 11 b&w.  Have been doing this for 7 years, the previous Editor did it 
for 15!
We have a website at www.mgvr.org (maintained by Chris Kintner, one of our 
subscribers).
The newsletter is produced primarily on Microsoft Word, with photos pasted 
up the old fashioned way, copies run by a local quick printer, stuffed & 
mailed by me (bulk mail).  Articles include race reports, tech tips, history 
of MG racing, and some human interest type.  Most of our subscribers value 
content more than presentation.  I normally write about 75% of the 
newsletter, which is far too much, but we all know how difficult it is to 
get others to write something.
We require all our subscribers to actively race a vintage MG, in order to be 
eligible for the newsletter.  We have no regular "dues", we simply collect 
money when the kitty is empty & continue.
Would be glad to hear from others on their choice of software & printing 
methods.  Until recently my home computer would not have been able to handle 
it anyway -- but recently upgraded.  If the learning curve is not too 
difficult I'd like to get away from the cut & paste method some day.
