Hello all,

        Several questions:

        1) Is there any relatively easy way to get into the Minor 1000
heater to check and/or replace the switch and/or motor?  Looks like a lot
of disassembly work to me.

        2) Who is good to send a Smith's Minor 1000 Speedometer (1967-type)
to for rebuilding?  I hope somebody is still doing that kind of work.

        3) Any special trick to installing a thermostat in an 1100 engine
so it will bring the minimum operating temperature up somewhere  near the
actual thermostat temperature rating?
