Much consternation reported here as "human shields" are being rounded up and
marshalled in the Imperial Garages, sited in several strategic locations
about this embattled country. As talk of massive airstrikes builds, the
common Iraqis are bemused and confused, as usual, by the behavior of their
fearless leader, Saddam Hussein. Alongside captured and bought at retail
Humvees, spaces are being prepared for other vehicles....oil pans and
sopping-up compound are much in evidence, as well as huge quantities of
Castrol products and spare Lucas parts. At each location, a pre-positioned
CONEX is seen, bearing the origin of Pickersleigh Road. Being all too aware
that the Brits are a tidy and demanding lot, so far as storage of their
spares, noone questions the airconditioning units atop the CONEX's, or the
demand from Pickersliegh that the water connections be made.
Meanwhile, Saddam has been seen to berate his intelligence staff
unmercilessly, demanding to know when the Morgans will arrive....."I placed
an order FIVE YEARS ago!!!!, as Allah is my witness!!!", he was heard to
exclaim. "This plan of the allies that you have discovered looks like my
only chance this decade!!!!!!!!!!"
