Rudy, I have polished aluminium motorcycle crankcases etc. by bead blasting with small glass beads to clean and prepare the surface then lots of hard work rubbing the aluminium with fine steel wool and light oil. Just keep rubbing until you get the finish required. We use the term for the hard hand work (out here) as "using plenty of elbow grease"! Best regards, Fred Birkbeck |
