All current production Volvos use a diagonal split system.
The old 140/240 series used a dual diagonal split system where each front
caliper had two circuits in it, so if 1/2 the master was lost, you have 50%
of each front wheel, plus 1 rear wheel left for braking. There were 2 brake
lines and 3 bleed screws on each front caliper.
Used to confuse the hell out of new mechanics.
