Within the same generation, I think it is a straight swap, unless the
driveshaft length is different (this changed over the years -- the Moss
catalog has a reference).
The "wiring harness" is just one or two wires and could easily be cobbled up
from the diagram, I should think. But I'm not familiar with the late models
specifically.
