Windshield Frame Clean-up

I've got my windshield apart for glass replacement on
my '73B.  I want to clean-up the frame while it is
off, which is badly oxidized.

Any suggestions on what method to use to clean-up the
frame members?

If you could copy me with any replies directly as well
as the list that would be helpful.
