I am (literally) in the process of inspecting/replacing the main bearings in my 1970 MGB while the engine sits in the car. I am having difficulty removing the front and rear main bearing caps. Is it possible to remove these caps while the engine is in the car, or are there hidden bolts I can't see? Any words of wisdom to share? The last time I did this I let Dad do most of the work while I drank the beer. Thank you in advance, Thomas J Pokrefke, III 1970 MGB http://www.pokrefke.com |
