.040 isn't a problem, ever.
.060 probably isn't a problem.
.080 and .100 should be sonic tested first, and you better have a good
machine shop. Most MG blocks can be bored that much.
The 1950 engine is .130" over. SOME MG blocks can go that far but not
all.
