Carmine is a deeper and brighter red of late model.
Tartan is the early red and IMO best red for the MG.

Damask is also nice. Flame and Flamenco I really dislike.
There are good pictures in Clausager has very good pictures.
That book has almost convinced me (just by the pictures) to
go with Black Orchid when the happy day comes that I paint
(long way off).
