Chris,
Hit the same problem on my MGA. I took them to the neighborhood
muffler shop. They do this sort of thing every day. I ended up giving the
mechanic 10 dollars for his trouble. I believe they tack a piece of rod to
what remains of the stud and between the heat and additional leverage, the
stud comes out.
