Patton(where the heck did I get Alvin from?) The early 1967 Mk.I MGB's rectangular VIN plates attached with small pan head self tapping sheet metal screws. No need for rivits. Car number (VIN) on top, engine number on bottom of the open metal colored field. The MG logo was in the upper left corner. Hope this helps Albert Escalante 1978 MGB; 1957 3.4 litre (Mk.I) 1977 XJ-6L; 1985 XJ-6 (not running) /// /// mgs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// |
