Amplifier Parts

It has been brought to my attention by Paul Tegler (whose advice I
value) that the regulator in the amplifiers fitted to the 1980 MGBs is
the same as in a GM alternator. Does anyone know which alternator uses
this regulator so I can locate  the part number and replace the
regulator in the 2 bad amplifiers I have?
