seeking advice on MGB purchase

I've found a 65 mgb close to me for sell for $1250.00 the engine knocks
it has previous rust repair that is showing back through after 13 years
non original paint,seats,etc.,etc.I want to know what to look for and if
this sounds like a deal. I've got a 74 chrome bumper B and a 74 chrome
bumper GT parts car with fresh engine as well as previously owning a 75
B so i'm not new to these cars but haven't looked at/owned one this
old.......Any Help?.....................Greg
