Frank- in the event no one else has given you an answer, step 1 is to remove the switch. It can be gently pried loose with a pocket knife or very small screwdriver. Once removed, you will find a nut inside the knob which must be removed, then the knob will lift off. Because of the wires inside the knob, an " unscrew" would twist & cause breakage, therefore, the knob does not unscrew as other shift knobs do. Jim Stuart |
