Charley: The Bentley Manual says to use the same oil in the engine or
tranny or to use 90 wt. I have been told by those more knowledgable to use
30 wt. non-detergent. See Lawrie's posting. Bill Bassett, noted Jaguar
restoration shop owner and my neighbbor, highly recommends 30 wt.
non-detergent and his shop uses it in all the vintage Jags they restore. I
am concerned that the Bentley manual also recommends 90 wt!
