My Ignitor could count as two failures, as when I went to install it two of
the six magnets were the wrong polarity (have no idea why this matters but
it did)... Pertronix promptly sent out a new collar with six correctly
polarized magnets.

As someone had mentioned, their units had "hundreds not thousands of miles"
on them, same here... I think I've just past about 2200 miles with the
pertronix since I installed it in Feb of 1999 (TR-6 used for short daily
commuting, or the random long drive/commute).

Next step is to go with a MSD 6BTM ignition... might as well have variable
timing for the supercharger boost!  (I think my TR-6 is quickly becoming one
of the most expensive LBC projects in existence)
