OUCH!!!

For those of you who followed the story :-)

I have had a few people who wanted to see what Sir Jack Brabham (73)
could do to a classic Aston Martin DB4 - not wanting to harp on about
this event any further (for now:-) I offer the following.

A quick summary... in South Australia we have just had a fantastic car
rally called Classic Adelaide full of 150 or so fantastic cars racing
and/or parading through the winding roads and hills around the city -
see http://www.classicadelaide.com.au

Sir Jack Brabham and Roy Salvadori were amongst the drivers... but on
the last of the four day event, Sir Jack missed a bit of a bend and came
into contact with a tree in his DB4

The results can bee seen at:

Neither driver nor co-driver were injured and none of this is in any way
a criticism of driver or event (or car)... as Sir Jack said, "that's
motorsport". Up until then he drove flawlessly... and at 73 years of
age, too!
