Steering Column Removal

I need some advice with the removal of my steering column.  I have
removed the bolt on the upper end od the U-Joint.  I removed the 3 bolts
at the firewall.  I removed the three bolts underneath the dash.  I
removed the turn signal and wiper stalk.  I pulled on the steering
wheel.  Hard.  Nothing happens.........

Any suggestions???
