MGB pan removeal

Help, please:

     Attempting to remove the sump from my 77B while the engine is still in the
car.  Am I going to have to release the motor mounts and jack up the engine to
loosen the front sump screws.  If so, the PIA a/c compressor is blocking the
right side motor mount.  TIA.
