12 V single battery

Hi there,

in various articles and mails it was mentioned that it is possible to change
from twin 6 V batteries to a single 12 V battery. I would like to do that on
my 1973 RHD chrome bumper roadster. In most of the aritcles a Ford
Motorcraft Group 26 racing battery is mentioned. What is the exact part
number of that battery and will I be able to get it over here in Germany?
