 Lawrence,
I am well behind on the operation of a computer, I do havea scanner
and it is neat to watch the light go back and forth but I have not been to
successful on its use. Would it be possible to mail
photos etc... to you? I of course will attempt to scan, if for nothing else
the learning experience (and to entertain the cat, he also loves to watch it go
back and forth). But if I should fail...
I think it is a great idea to provide this gallery/repository
and want to support anyway I can. I will also get with the rest of our club
members who have MGs and ask them to submit as well.
THANKS!
MIKE R

Hello All.

I have been a spectator on this list for a month or so, having only been a
MGB owner for the last two months, I havent contributed much to the list but
have learnt a whole whack.

What I am looking to do is put up a web page with a underlying database of
MG pics, owners and details. This page will be linked to the MG ring etc
etc. The person browsing will be able to link to a page with a picture of
your car - perhaps a short description and a Link to your email address if
you want. If you are interested then mail me pictures, a short desc or at
least make and model of your car and please stipulate whether you want a
link to your email address. If the images are more than a couple of hundred
Kb then try and zip it up if possible.

As soon as I get a few replies, i will get the site up and running and then
publish the address on the list. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Please note, one of the main reasons I want to put this page up is that when
I started looking for MG stuff on the web, all the sights had a handfull of
pictures and that was it and I had to go to other sights to find more
pictures etc. I really do think everyone will benifit from this.

Lawrence Viljoen.
