Good Monday Morning,

One rainy day, sitting in my '74 B, I began wiggling the blower switch in
the dash board. I found that I could:
1) Make the fan not work when the switch was in the on position.
2) Occasionally turn the gentle breeze into actual airflow.
3) Really mash the switch, so that it goes to a full "down" position, like
the headlamp switch in full-on position. The fan cut off at this position.

It seems like the switch is in need of a good cleaning, but I can't figure
out how to get it loose. I looked at the headlamp switch (since I can get
to that one) and I can see a plastic clip, but couldn't figure out how to
get it off.

Does anyone want to share the magic of these clips? Beyond that, what in
the dashboard do you have to remove to get to the blower switch?

And the stupid question: Is the heater blower a two speed affair, and I've
only ever been using the slow speed?

As always, thanks in advance.

Recent victory: Removed the half-axle to replace the rear wheel bearing.
Got it out, cleaned the grease off it and was washing my hands after 40 min.
Surprised a daughter, the wife and myself.

Recent disappointment: Found the fuel pump is powered by a wire shoved into
the heater fan bullet connector.
