I drive my '74 B to school every day. It's about 42 miles each way from
where I live (Ventura, CA) to school (UC Santa Barbara) and I have only had
it fail me once with a faulty starter solenoid. (Good thing I had a parts
car!) Other than that the car runs great and I rarely have to repair it. I
too carry lots of tools, but as of yet have had no need for them. I covered
about 17,000 miles last year and will probably cover around 25,000 this
year. The B is a great daily driver and I love owning/driving/maintaining
it.

It got me to wondering just how many of us are driving our LBC's as dailey
drivers. I know that there are some obvious daileys on the list (barney..)
but with marks report of 400+ list participants, I was just curious as to
how many of us drive'em dailey, and how many are garage queens.

at the moment, and the '72 GT that is in the process of referbishment.
