Steve,
One common source for draining the battery on a RB B is a dysfunctional trunk
light switch which causes the trunk light to stay on. Test this to make sure
that the light goes out when you depress the switch and make sure the switch
is seated correctly so that when the truck is closed it will depress the
switch (turn off the light). If you are unsure about how to do these things,
you can just take out the bulb. If this is not the cause you will have to
hunt down the short - got a test light?
Hope this helps,
Dr. Doug

Subject: Ignition Light/Charging Problems-Update
Dear Listers,
As of this morning, my battery is deader than a door nail. Not even my clock
is functioning; however, it does indicate that the battery went completely
flat approxamately 11 hours since I last ran the car. So, that would indicate
a VERY small short. Please, oh please help me with this one! I am at
college, and lack the facilities to work on my car properly, meaning I would
have to *gasp* take it to a shop.
Thank you in advance,
Steve Sanchez
