I've never used it, but they make heat shrink tubing that might
look a little better than electric tape, but I suspect it's only available
in black (all I've ever seen). You just slide it over the wire, heat it
with a lighter etc., and voila'.

Actually, I've used it and it isn't too bad. You can get it at Radio Shack
and it comes in different colors, none of which match what you need. They
do carry a clear that I like to use. At least that way I can see the
original.
