Dear Dave,
Dang, you ask hard questions. I replaced my fuel tank last year
following instructions from people in this news group. As I remember, it
was one of the easier things I've ever done on the car because of those
suggestions. Unfortunately, I don't remember the particulars. However, I
again referred to Haynes and the Moss catalog. I didn't want to get my
Bently all dog-eared and greasy. The most difficult thing on my tank
(1970) was disconnecting a lot of the vapor recovery tubing. Your '67
won't have that stuff and your tank is cheaper, too.
