Response by RICH>  I tend to agree with Barney here, though I can't claim
the same experience that he does.  Food for thought:  back when I was a
teenage mutant gearhead dragracer ('72 V8 Vega), I put sheet metal screws
through the lip of the wheel into the bead of the rear tires to prevent
them from slipping under hard acceleration.
