Others have already identified it as an Imp, but I can add, the engine was
the 'Coventry Climax' engine, originally designed as a stationary engine
for use in fire pumps. There were a couple of kit cars based on the Imp:
Ginetta G15 and Clan Crusader. Both quite quick, because of their
negligible total weight!
