The British Car Club of Hawaii are taking their annual drive over the
Kolekole Pass on 10/19.
This club is made up of all marques British, most of the membership is of
an inactive nature, but we hope to get a few interested in our annual
event.
The KoleKole Pass is a military road that links the famous Schofield Army
Barracks to a Naval Magazine area on the other side of the mountain range
on the western end of Oahu.
The drive is a test of the cooling systems and their maintenance (or lack
of). Normally the event is followed by a lunch.
My decision, take the 51 TD, or the 77 B. I am concerned the TD may not
handle the heat too well, so it will have to be the B.
I hope to be able to report on the event early next week.
