Can I make an entry for a pre-BMC car? In the early 80's, Al Moss (yes,
that Moss!) drove his 1948 TC over 10,000 miles in a six week jaunt which
went from Santa Barbara to the East Coast, to various MG meets - including
one in Canada - and then various points on the West Coast, ending with
participation in the Historic Races at Laguna Seca. Not bad for a
right-hand drive car with only 1250 cc!
My own best pales in comparison: 3,200 miles in 3 weeks in a TC (although
the last day was 540 miles, from Redding to Santa Barbara, and most of the
second week was spent at an MG meet).
