speedo/od

does anyone know the tpm (turns per mile) on a 77-80 model mgb speedo
with overdrive?  i have a 73 'b with a non-working speedometer that
used to be 1280 tpm.  the transmission and overdrive are from an 80 'b,
which is geared for a different speedometer.  i'm planning on sending
the speedo to be rebuilt and re-calibrated, but would like to have
this information to include with the unit.  any help would be appreciated.
