Bob Donahue, the reason against recom. 20w50 in the GM engines is for fuel economy reasons......that nasty 20w50 ROBS all that power from your engine .....10w30 is recom. for my '95" Chevy Corolla"(Geo Prizm Lsi) with the big block 1800cc. Toyota engine ........a little thin for my tastes and climate but 35 mpg. on the hi-way. YMMV, HoYo |
