To all the folks who replied on my mystery bolts I couldn't find, (thought
they were inside the tunnel, not in the cockpit), and the engine hook/mount
points.
Man, was I a nervous wreck. Yanking the engine and tranny out by the valve
cover bolts. Doesn't even sound or look right, but, it came out just fine.
I didn't stand around BS'ing and slugging beer while it was still on the
hoist. I got it to the floor ASAP.
My helper, TI Metalugist Engineer neighbor, whom I owe a life time supply
of beer, calculated the valve cover bolts could hold 450 LBS each. That
did make me feel better, but I felt best once the engine/tranny rested
quitly on the floor.
The rest should be easy for now. I think it's obvious the hardest part to
this will be putting it back in and getting everything aligned.
All in all, it wasn't that hard to pull, all things considered. Just a
little time consuming. It was pretty neat.
I'll be posting later for tips on doing the reverse of what I did yesterday
and today.
Thanks again for everyones help.
Man, is this list the best or what?!?!?!?
