I recently aquired a '78 Midget that has been painted too many times. Since it needs a 'real' paint job, I'm going to have to sand to bare metal. Once I'm ready for priming, should I bother to use a self etching type of primer? It seems that the metal will already be etched from the sanding. Or should one always use etching primer with bare metal? -Aron Travis- "always in a automotive frenzy" |
