Technical Problems

I don't think the stuff is related.  On my Midget, the car would run great
for about 30 min the start to run badly and eventually it would sputter and
die.  It was the gas cap. The new gas cap I bought wasn't vented, so it
created a vacuum inside my tank.  Try checking your gas tank breather,
wherever it may be (on the tank itself or on the cap).
