Um, maybe I'm out of touch with the values of MGs, but since when has ANY
MGB been worth 30,000 dollars? Excuse my tone but this seems way out of line
for the car. The "Thoroughbred and Classic Cars" price guide lists early MGB
roadsters in "condition 1" (excellent all round condition, but not necessarily
concours winnders) at around 8000 pounds, or about 12-13 kilobucks. Even the
auction
listings (showing what people actually paid for a car) only supports 9188
pounds
for a '73 in condition 1. (in the single issue I consulted.)

Remember that UK prices for cars seem to be inflated compared to the US market.

I'm willing to be proved wrong. Educate me if I'm completely off base.

Maybe it's time to rethink my "Triumphs Only" policy....
