I'm working on the brakes of a MG TD that has sat idle in a garage for 25 years. The master and slave cylinders were no problem to clean up and rebuild, but how does one go about cleaning out the brake lines? I was thinking of flushing them out with a spray can of Gum Out or some such solvent. Would this leave an undesirable residue? I plan on using the new silicone brake fluid when its finished. Any advice appreciated. Bob Donahue " 50s FOREVER " rdonahue@holli.com 1953 MG-TD |
