????? I just went to my local auto parts store and asked for a rebuilt SMOG pump
for a '68 MGBGT and one arrived from the warehouse a day later for $77.
It is my understanding that a SMOG pump does essentually nothing to clean up
pollution from an idling car but does its job at higher RPMs. I suspect that
your SMOG test, like mine are done for idle emmisions only.
