I was assuming Barrie had fitted the correct switch for his column, which being a 1970 could be the early peg or the later clip. I wouldn't expect a 77/80 switch to even fit a 70 earlier column. Out of interest I'm guessing the cancelling mechanism is entirely internal to the 77/80 switch with both stalks on the same assembly?
