The spam filter on Thunderbird is good as well. It will also not show
images from mails so if you are sent spam they can not trace the link
from the image to there web site back to your address.

Not only that, but I have found out the hard way that Win 98se is
awful with
IE 6. Had to start using Firefox.

If you are still running win98 you do need to look to upgrade. Not for
speed but to protect you system.
98 is no longer supported so no bug up dates to stop you PC from being
atacted.
