Greetings fellow clubers,

I cant remember who i was talking to on this club
about a company who makes replicas of motors. So I am
sending all of you the info. I had seen this in My
Classic Car a while ago and i just saw it again. Here
is a wright up about them and the web page.

"However, another issue when building a custom street
rod is that many of the parts may have to be modified
to ensure a proper fit. And when it comes to
assembling the engine, you want to be sure that all
the engine components are dimension accurate. To help
in this task, the folks at P-Ayr Products have now
taken much of the guesswork and experimentation out of
the picture with their lightweight authentic engine
replicas. These replicas are made to OEM
specifications and they accept parts to ensure proper
fitting. Each of their engine replicas has threaded
sleeves and will accept a timing cover, water pump,
intake manifold, distributor, and other components.
The lightweight construction also allows the engine to
be moved in and out of the chassis with ease. As
Dennis points out, these beauties cost in the
neighborhood of $300.00 to $400.00, however, if you
split the cost among your local club or group, this
investment becomes minimal for the amount of time and
effort that will be spared in the long run."

Hope this helps in someone's project
