There is not much thread length to the studs.  Once you go through the 1/4"
spacer, then the thicker alloy wheel you may run out of threads.  There is
no easy way to go with longer lug studs that I have found.  None of the off
the shelf or race car studs I have found fit the hub without major
modifications.
If someone has found longer studs that work without redrilling the hubs
please let me know.  I redrilled my rear hubs, for longer racy type studs,
but was not able to get the studs to seat effectively.  When used with a
spacers, the studs came loose damaging the wheel.  I'm sure given better
tools and procedure, I could have done a better job, but still a major
hassle.
