Since I'm going for safety and flexibility over originality my negative
ground TD has a Ron Francis wiring kit that gives me fuses for every
possible circuit. I'm happy with it so far; still running all the wiring.
Also, there's a fellow in the California Vintage MG Club who modifies a 100
amp alternator to run on a TD, as I'm told. It has the tach take-off; I saw
it at the recent MG parts swap. Seriously considering it for my purposes,
tho I haven't researched it thoroughly yet. Just today my helper and I
filled and bled the 4-wheel MG disk brakes on the TD. It's overkill for the
XPAG engine, but has potential for other plans that I have. Moss used to
offer the front end coil over shock kit for the TD, if I'm remembering
correctly. And, of course, the Koni rear shocks are available. Lotsa
stuff.
