Lee,
    Another question... is your friend using 50/50 antifreeze, another
ratio, or plain water? Water, of course, boils at a mere 212 deg (100 C),
while antifreeze raises the boiling point quite a bit. Anyone remember the
boiling point for 50/50? The point is to help determine the severity of the
problem.
