Don, if both parts are painted, you probably have nothing to worry about.  
This is especially true because you will not drive this car in the snow, ice 
and 
salted roads!!  I've had alloy wing stays bolted to the frame of the TA for 
years with no sign of corrosion...it does see the occasional rain.  The Arnolt 
has many seams where the alloy is crimped over steel.....no sign of problems 
there either....
