Chris,

I presume you are talking about the pins that hold the sleeves on the cross
shaft that hold the rubber bushes in the bell housing in place, if so they
are tapered and will only come out one way. More often than not the thin end
of the taper has been peened over to stop it coming loose/out.

Peter Green

Hi All,

I am wanting to know how to remove the clutch pedal from its shaft on our
P-Type. Any hints or tips would be most appreciated.

Also any hints or tips on removing the locating pins from the cross shaft
that
supports the gearbox on a P. As well as any thoughts on why the pins are
there
at all/do they need to be?

Regards,
