Hello all!
I supercharged the PA a while ago and I must say that it is a really
worthwhile modification. Unfortunately I still have the original PA gearbox
ratios
but I came across another car recently with a J2 box. Are there any hints as
to what needs to be done to convert and is the J2 gearbox strong enough to
cope with the extra power?
Another more pressing problem is the exhaust noise. I'm still running with
the standard manifold, silencer and exhaust system and while the noise is
superb, it is really a bit antisocial. I also can't hear any engine noises or
my navigator while on the road. We're going to Luxembourg this summer and
I'll probably need a hearing aid at the end of the journey. Any suggestions?
