Hi Pip

I am not 100% sure but I believe both of those large nuts are 
left hand thread. I purchased it for my J2 racer some 3 years 
ago from, perhaps, Mike Dawley of Sports & Vintage.
Trunnion was available from Octagon Car Club, in quite 
reasonable price.
